A titanium and steel study in the aesthetics from those flame-spitting machines like Audi, Ferrari, and Lancia. Combining the cold precision with eye catching colors, these three latest models, the GTS Mod, NITRO Mod, and SPORT Mod, pay homage to auto racing of the 60's and 70's.
So, how is this vibe carried on by the Rev boxes – beyond the straightforward reference in their names? Exposed under a rather unique looking, raised sapphire crystal that has a smooth angled edge running around it periphery. The HD screen display is where things get really interesting. Modeled after speedometers found in race cars, the screen display come in four colorways, including red, green, white, and yellow. The speedometer design is clean with a recessed area for the voltage scale and time scale.
The speedometer on REV GTS has a dial of full Arabic numerals and accented in seven customizable colors. I personally love the green setting cause the combo of green, white and red remind me of the flag of Italy, which is apt since Italy is home to supercar makers like Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Pagani. In fact, unlike the NITRO Mod and SPORT Mod that has mere hints of black and white, the GTS is less shy with the hue offering a bolder look that many want with a sport mod.

As for the REV NITRO, its short, curved body is obviously inspired by the gauges and instrument clusters of some of the cars from this era, replete with a unified but bold use of color. There are ten colors options for you to choose from - White, Gray, Black, Red, Green Yellow, Light Blue, Dark Blue, Pink, Orange. The white version specifically reminds me of the gauges from a Lancia Delta and, as all of the models have a white-tipped scale on the “speedometer”, the white model is the most uniform in its use of color.
My least favorite in this collection is the REV SPORT box mod. It has a certainly classy looking, but I feel as though it cannot decide whether it wants to be a racing style or a casual daily box mod. With the other two, REV goes full throttle racing design, and with excellent results. Then again, some people might not be totally into the car racing design, so to combine a fun racing theme with a refined style that one could feasible use on a daily basis.

FUNCTIONALITY & PERFORMANCE

Measuring 94mm by 55mm by 32mm, REV GTS is molded to fit your hands, even for people with smaller hands. It features a smart TC/VW chipset for a serious vape hit. After all, you need a precise temperature adjustment for better flavor satisfaction, and chances are you also want a decent DL Cloudage play. REV GTS runs as high as 230 watts, powered by dual 18650 batteries. It supports both TC mode and VW mode. The TC range is from 100 º Celsius to 315 º Celsius. The full temperature control includes coil buildings of Ni200 nickel, titanium and stainless-steel materials. Following a pretty popular and well-loved brother, REV NITRO isn't trying to fix anything that ain't broken. However, a very unique feature in the NITRO is an “accelerator” button.
