Vapers in India are facing the fight of their lives
As the second largest population in the world, India is home to 120 million Indians smokers. Every year, millions of people were killed by tabacco. Now Indian governments is considerring some serious measures to ban tabacco. But as for vaping, five indian states also ban e-cigs, which is bad news for all vapers.
This will be a make or break year for India’s vapers: the central government will pronounce its verdict, and the WHO’s COP8 meeting will signal the treatment vaping is met with globally. Also for most Asian countries, whose vape association representatives I met recently in Bangkok as part of the INNCO (International Network of Nicotine Consumer Organisations) Asia Pacific initiative.
