Tackling Smoking Cessation with Virtual Reality
Recent year, virtual reality has gone viral since its release, which not only helps bring you to a place that may not exist but assists smokers to quit smoking. A Kentucky-based VR startup, has just launched a pilot study of their VR smoking cessation program with the University of Louisville. This device used to stop smoking contains many processes including virtual education, virtual clinic, and immersive clinical videos. In addition to these, this platform also can customized users based on their experience and history to give patients a good and smooth user experience. As for this new device, I feel very excited and wonder how the virtual reality affects the smokers and their habits.
