Research on mice reveals what vaping is doing to our bodies
The news could impact Bristol-based Imperial Tobacco which stepped up its vaping strategy in 2017. Electronic cigarettes increase the risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease by harming genes, according to new research. Experiments on mice found the smoke damaged DNA in the heart, lungs and bladder. Scientists say it suggests the devices could trigger tumours, strokes and heart attacks.
